Institute for Field Research

The Institute for Field Research (IFR) offers students the opportunity to contribute to our understanding of the world's natural and cultural heritage by participating in field research projects around the world and in the US. IFR offers programs in the field sciences, including archaeology, anthropology, environmental sciences, paleontology and geology. Most are summer programs with a duration of 3-6 weeks and offer 6-8 semester credits.
