External and internal pressures such as global conflicts, pandemics, civil discourse, shrinking budgets, and staff turnover create challenging environments for leaders in education abroad. How do effective leaders navigate challenges to revitalize and build resiliency within a team? Current and new leaders, and those who aspire to lead an education abroad team, will be introduced to strategies and resources designed to support organizational growth and motivation during uncertain times.

Learning Objectives:

Apply strategies and tools for revitalizing education abroad staff with examples of success and sharing of resources.
Understand how to navigate organizational change, motivate team members, address burnout, and approach change with positivity.
Apply tools for managing up and advocating for unit and organizational needs.
Expand participants’ network and learn from colleagues currently in or seeking leadership roles.
