This session addresses the challenges EA leaders face balancing their own health and well-being with that of their students. Fatigue, interpersonal conflicts, logistical complications, and inequities can exacerbate the challenges EA leaders encounter on the ground. Based on our Ethics of Care research and experience leading students to multiple countries, we offer tools to help sustain the energy and excitement that often first motivates EA leaders to develop and lead experiences abroad.
