This study explored how students in a short-term education abroad program in Finland perceived their learning through contemplative practices. Focusing on wellbeing, sustainability, and mindfulness, the research revealed the significance of Place and experiential coherence in shaping transformative experiences. The findings advocate for integrating contemplative education abroad to foster deeper connections with Self, Others, and Place.
