Abi has worked in higher education for 20 years, the last 12 of which have been in study abroad. She spent studied abroad in both high school and college. Abi received her Ed.D. in Higher Education in 2023, where her dissertation focused on underserved access to study abroad. She has served on FORUM, DA, and NAFSA committees, and is active in the GLL. She lives outside Albany, NY with her family and wonder dog Yeti.
