John Goodman

Syracuse University

Since 2022, Dr. John Goodman is the Director of the Syracuse University program in Strasbourg, France. Prior to joining Syracuse, Goodman was an advisor to President Jimmy Carter and The Carter Center foundation, focusing primarily on Africa and the Middle East. He has also worked for the International Committee of the Red Cross in South Sudan and the Democratic Republic of Congo as well as in private practice.
