Francine A'ness is the Associate Director of Teaching and Learning at the Frank J. Guarini Institute for International Education at Dartmouth College. Her focus is faculty development, integrated program design, and intercultural development. She is also a Senior Lecturer in the Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Program and The Writing Program. She has a Ph.D. in Hispanic Languages and Literature from UC Berkeley and has served as a faculty director for term-length study abroad programs in Spain and Latin America. Her teaching portfolio includes two innovative, co-taught, credit-bearing reflection-based courses focused on ethical travel and intercultural development.
